Loan aid, training grants approved for health workforce in Michigan

Wayne State University received $281,630 in funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources, which will be used to boost health care workforce training and to prepare for up to 32 million additional people with insurance by 2014. The funds will expand primary care and oral health training, enhance chronic disease prevention efforts, purchase equipment and provide student loan repayments.
